About Williams

Luke Williams, MD, known fondly by patients as Dr. Luke, is a board-certified internal medicine physician at Gulf Club Medicine in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Dr. Luke went to Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Georgia, for his undergraduate degree. He then earned his medical degree at St. Matthew's University in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, and completed his residency at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Luke has several years of experience practicing in the emergency room and is certified in PALS and ACLS.

Dr. Luke is a born-and-bred Georgia Bulldawg from the small farm town of Donalsonville, Georgia, with an affinity for the fine white sand and invigorating power of the Gulf of Mexico (go figure)! He enjoys fishing, paddle boarding, diving, boating, playing basketball and golf, watching the Dawgs, spending time with his family, and serving others. He also travels to Honduras with the Christian mission group IC13 to provide medical services to remote villages around El Progresso and San Pedro Sula. Some of his happiest, most-fulfilling life experiences have materialized through these missions.

Dr. Luke and his wife Julianne have been married for eight years and have ]four wild and beautiful kids: Little Luke, Lorelei, Cayman, and Baby Georgia. He and Julianne, a born-and-raised Hoosier, met in Grand Cayman while Dr. Luke was in medical school, and although they hail from decidedly different backgrounds, they both share an immense passion for family, friends, and adventure! Without the support of their amazing family and community, Gulf Club Medicine would merely exist as a concept.
